Phase 1 is about design. No coding. No engines. Just thinking carefully about what makes a game work.

Two games. Eight modules. One original game design at the end.

You will study Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda, understand how and why they work, and use that understanding to design a game of your own. That design becomes your blueprint for Phase 2.
